First of all, we would like to support you during this exceptional time in which you stay at home following the state of alarm and the official postponement by the Real Decreto 487/2020, the 10th April.

After our communication informing about the closure of our facilities at the beginning of this crisis, we would like to share the measures that Oliva Nova Golf is carrying out to face the situation caused by the Covid-19.

Following the measures published by the Government and the health authorities, we have kept our essential activity, the maintenance of the golf course and the administrative department are working during this period. After the publication of the Real Decreto Ley 10/2020, the 29th March, the restrictions affected to the economic activity and the mobility of the people but we have been working fulfilling the minimum services until the 13th April. Our human team has adapted in every moment to the situation, doing a bigger effort than in normal conditions to follow the restrictions, but keeping the program of mowing the lawn in greens, fairways and rough. These tasks combine with an application of a plant growth regulator has done very good results. Moreover, we inform that we will have done the hollow tining in greens, collars and tees of May before the re-opening of the course in order to do not affect the players game.

Oliva Nova Golf has collaborated with the Spanish Association of Greenkeepers, Spanish Association of Golf Courses, Costa Blanca Golf Association and Royal Spanish Golf Federation, we thank them for the information and the measures done during this period. These associations and the golf clubs has strongly supported the golf sector when it was very necessary and let the official institutions know the importance of the daily maintenance of the golf courses. Furthermore, the guides to follow for reopening the courses in the best conditions under this special situation and safe for our clients.

Since the beginning of the alarm state we have worked in different areas, but we have made our first priority the security of the workers and clients in our facilities. The day we will open the golf course again all the measures will make it different from the past but according to the situation we are facing.

Once we get more news from the government , we will inform you about this information and how affects Oliva Nova Golf and our reopening.
